Just a list of the episodes I found (and still find) very funny to watch. These have me in stitches when/every time I watch them.

Funny to me in spots poor Charles trying to keep ahead of sleuths his daughter Laura and her best friend Andy Garvey in this. The worst was yet to come with the green paint all over his head and the minister saying he selected Psalms 23 some time before he saw Charles' hair - oh oh lol.

Though a serious episode, I selected this because of Katharine MacGregor's character - Mrs. Oleson being drunk on Dr. Logan's "secret recipe" and singing herself to falling backward in her chair lol.

Luke Simms - Nellie's new boyfriend - is really hilarous in spots: especially during suppertime at the Oleson's. You have to watch it if you're in the mood for funny episodes! lol.

Very funny instances in this - both with Jonathan Garvey and Charles Ingalls (you have to see it) and with Laura's hurrying to "grow up" as it were. The only criticism I have is she makes reference to this time of her life when she's married to Almanzo but she gets the name of the boy wrong in this particular episode. Do the writers think we Little House fans are unintelligent? (If I find the episode, I'll either add it here or make a separate list). She calls him "Jeremy Dodds" in the later episode, but his name in this "Rivals" episode is Jimmy Hill!!!

There's No Place Like Home (Part I)

I chose this one because of the antics of drunkard/gambler Toby No who we will not see the last of after this one lol.

Men Will Be Boys

49 min | Drama, Family, Romance

While their fathers secretly trail them, young Albert Ingalls and Andy Garvey set off to prove their mettle as men by accepting a challenge to live by their wits during a week-long, overland walk from Walnut Grove to Sleepy Eye and back.

To me, a lot of funny in this episode. The boys wanted to be treated like men: how old are they 11? lol. The fathers follow them on their journey unbeknownst to their sons, and the poor dads forgot to bring money and they end up not doing as well as their boys, unfortunately. It's both funny and not so funny in a way. Charles really is upset at his best friend Jonathan in this one "You owe me a hat" and "Shovels is by the door" he mocks his benefactor's words to Jonathan. I suppose a person shouldn't laugh, but one can't help seeing the hilarity in the tale.

Dance with Me

At last, the other Toby Noe episode! We see him again, this time hiding under a box trying to get away from the train manager who wants to be paid for Toby's sneaking a ride on his train! Charles takes him in, he eats him out of house and home, and Toby is in love with Amanda who has no use for drunks who don't work>lol. Lots of funny in this one if you like that sort of thing! (I am not finished adding episodes to this list, so if you happen to be reading, I hope to add more later on).

Oleson vs Oleson

There are snippets of hilarity in this episode - you just have to see for yourself. My favourite laugh out loud is the part where Charles is so desperate to get little Grace to stop crying that he offers her something to consume that he normally wouldn't think of giving her!
